Monster Energy AMA Motocross - Round 12 of the 2013 AMA Motocross National at Lake Elsinore MX Park, California

Purpose built in the middle of Lake Elsinore it looks a lot like Lake Elsinore in California.

Josh Grant isthe fastest qualifier in the 450 class with a 2 minutes 9 second lap time followed by Ryan Villopoto. Eli Tomac in the 250 class was flying in doing 2 minutes and 9 second lap times.

250 Moto 1 - A pair of Geico Hondas up front with Zach Osborne and Justin Bogle.

By lap four Tomac is out front of Osborne and Cianciarulo. Baggett is back a bit, but as we know that doesn't mean much as he's on the move!

Tomac takes the moto win from Baggett, Cianciarulo and Roczen.

250 Moto 2 - Justin Bogle gets the holeshot, Darryn Durham second, then Zach Osborne, Martin, Musquin and Roczen. Eli Tomac is back in ninth.

Roczen is fighting and makes his way to the front. Like Dungey, Roczen wants to keep the title race going until the final round.

Bogle is second, but out of nowhere Tomac (who's running lap times 4-5 seconds quicker than everyone else) is in third. Tomac gets past Bogle and is chopping down Roczens lead.

After a short battle, Tomac takes the lead from Roczen and has a series lead of 49 points which means the title will go to next round, until...

Roczen is down to 2 minutes, 11 seconds a lap with 2 laps to go, but Baggett is still running 2 minute, 6 second laps. If Baggett gets by Roczen the Tomac will be champion.

One lap to go and Baggett is alongside Roczen, one corner to go and Roczen tries to run Baggett off the track, but Baggett doubles out and powers inside Roczen to cross the line in second.

Eli Tomac is the AMA 250 Motocross Champion.
